Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) is a product of further chlorination modification of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and its chlorine content is generally 65% to 72%(volume fraction). In addition to many excellent properties of PVC, CPVC has corrosion resistance, heat resistance, solubility, flame retardant, mechanical strength and so on are greatly improved than PVC, so CPVC is a new material with excellent performance, and is widely used in construction, chemical industry, metallurgy, shipbuilding, electrical appliances, textiles and other fields, and the application prospect is very broad.

Specification

Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a new type of engineering plastic made by chlorination modification of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin. The product is white or light yellow tasteless, odorless, non-toxic loose particles or powder. After chlorination of PVC resin, the irregularity of molecular chain arrangement increases, the polarity increases, the solubility of the resin increases, the chemical stability increases, thus improving the heat resistance of the material and the corrosion resistance of acid, alkali, salt, oxidant and so on. The mechanical properties of the thermal deformation temperature of the resin were improved, the chlorine content was increased from 56.7% to 63-69%, the softening temperature of Vica was increased from 72-82 ℃ to 90-125 ℃, the maximum using temperature could reach 110 ℃, and the long-term using temperature was 95 ℃. Therefore, CPVC is a new type of engineering plastics with broad application prospects.
