Chlorinated polyethylene is a saturated polymer material, the appearance of white powder, non-toxic and tasteless, with excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance, chemical resistance and aging resistance, with good oil resistance, flame retardant and coloring properties. Good toughness (still flexible at -30℃), has good compatibility with other polymer materials, high decomposition temperature.

Chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) is a saturated polymer material, the appearance of white powder, non-toxic and tasteless, with excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance, chemical resistance and aging resistance, with good oil resistance, flame retardant and coloring properties. Good toughness (still flexible at -30℃), has good compatibility with other polymer materials, high decomposition temperature, decomposition of HCl, HCl can catalyze the dechlorination reaction of CPE. Chlorinated polyethylene is a polymer material prepared from high density polyethylene (HDPE) by chlorination substitution reaction. According to the different structure and use, chlorinated polyethylene can be divided into resin chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) and elastic type chlorinated polyethylene (CM) two categories. In addition to being used alone, thermoplastic resins can also be blended with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), ABS and even polyurethane (PU). In the rubber industry, CPE can be used as a high-performance, high-quality special rubber, and can also be blended with ethylene propylene rubber (EPR), butyl rubber (IIR), nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSM) and other rubbers.

1, CPE is a kind of saturated rubber, has excellent heat resistance oxygen aging, ozone aging, acid and alkali resistance, chemical properties. 2, the oil resistance of CPE is general, and the resistance to ASTM 1 oil and ASTM 2 oil is excellent, which is equivalent to NBR; Excellent resistance to ASTM 3 oil, better than CR, and comparable to CSM. 3, CPE contains chlorine, has excellent flame retardant performance, and has combustion anti-drip characteristics. The flame retardant material with good flame retardant performance and low cost can be obtained by the appropriate proportion of antimony flame retardant, chlorinated paraffin and Al(OH)3. 4. CPE is non-toxic, does not contain heavy metals and PAHs, and fully meets environmental requirements. 5, CPE has high filling performance, can be prepared to meet a variety of different performance requirements of the product. CPE has good processing performance and Mooney viscosity is available in a variety of grades between 50-100.

CPE can be regarded as ethylene, polyethylene and 1, 2-dichloroethylene random copolymer, its molecular chain saturation, polar chlorine atoms random distribution, because of its excellent physical and chemical properties, widely used in machinery, electric power, chemical, building materials and mining industry. CPE heat resistance, ozone resistance, weather resistance, aging resistance is better than most rubber, oil resistance is better than nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), neoprene rubber (CR), aging resistance is better than chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSM); Acid, alkali, salt and other corrosion properties, non-toxic, flame retardant, no explosion risk.
